Quartets

From time to time quartets get together to sing at concerts, competitions or special occasions. Here are some of the quartets of WHC:

 

Active Quartets

Jan and Tonic Quartet
Barbara Zalunardo (lead), Debbie Karagiannis (tenor), Jan McCarthy (bari) and Pat Richardson (bass) have been singing together since 2003.

Jan and Tonic recently achieved an impressive 9th place result at the 2011 Australian Sweet Adelines convention in Newcastle!

Just Us Quartet
We are Lesley (lead), Pamela (tenor), Lorraine (bari) and Sue (bass), and together we’re Just Us.

We’re newly registered and 100% novice – three of us were new to the chorus in 2008 and we came together by chance. It’s Just the beginning of the journey for Us, but we’ll be very happy as long as it continues to feel as good as it does now.

Vivace Quartet
Denise Foye (Lead), Rosemary Wright (Tenor), Jill Vickery (Baritone) and Helen Fahy (Bass) have been together since 2008.

Vivace have been entertaining audiences since their debut at our concert with the Sydney Male Choir in Nowra, competing in Newcastle in 2011. Several members of the quartet additionally sing with the Sydney Vocal Project.

Bazinga!
Ellyse Turner (Lead), Samantha Kettlewell (Tenor), Karen Wilmott (Baritone) and Jessica Fosler (Bass) have been together since 2010.

Bazinga were excited to recieve the Novice Quartet award at the 2011 Australian Sweet Adelines convention in Newcastle!
